Grey & Yellow Baby Shower

So excited to share these pics with you - my mom, sister, and I got together to plan a baby shower for yours truly (yes of course I had to be involved). But I had a blast, and I love to play host to my friends and family.
We even lucked out with one of the nicest days we've had here in Vancouver this spring/summer, so we got to use the backyard as planned. I have to credit my husband for all his hard work on the landscaping side of things, and for helping with the heavy lifting & clean up along with my dad & sister's bf.

Anyway we served all homemade sandwiches, salads, and desserts (lots of desserts), save for two delicious cakes from The Old Europe Bakery in Port Coquitlam, I highly recommend the St. Lorraine, and Fresh Fruit Cake.

And we had a photo booth set up for some fun guest shots...I am still not tired of photo booths, they are just so much fun!

I rented the tables & linens from Pedersens Rentals, definitely ask for Darlene, she is great to work with.

Otherwise everything else was a DIY project, probably found somewhere out in the blogosphere...with lots of eye candy and inspiration from sites like On To Baby, and Bump Smittten.

Without further ado, here are some pics from the day (the good ones being taken by the lovely Andrea Gurniak, of Andrea Gurniak Photography)
